We believe in an “open door policy” – Parents and carers are welcomed into the setting at drop-off and pick up time. This is treated as a time for informal discussion and a time for us to get to know the family as a whole, and to discuss your expectations of the service we provide.

Parents and carers are recognised as important and valued partners and respected in their role as their child’s first and most influential educators. Parents and carers are therefore encouraged to take an active interest in their child’s development whilst at Bright Start through various social and fund-raising events which are held throughout the year.

Your child’s keyworker is at the heart of our planning and they will familiarise themselves with your child’s likes and dislikes and use this information to plan engaging activities to guide your child through the stages of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
