We operate a Breakfast club every day from 7.45 am for children up to the age of 8 years.  There is a ‘Walking Bus’ to Borough Green Primary School.  This includes breakfast consisting of cereal, toast, fruit and yogurt, fruit juice, milk or water.

Brightstart offer a nutritional hot lunch and dessert every day as an optional extra.   (view sample menu)

An afterschool club operates on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays.  There is a walking bus back from Borough Green Primary School and Platt Primary School and Ightham Primary Schools subject to demand.   Children will have various activities set out inside and out and will be provided with a dinner which will consist of spaghetti bolognaise, pasta, roast chicken and a yoghurt and a piece of fruit, squash or water.  Please contact a member of staff for further details and prices.

A ‘Stay and Play’ session is held each Friday morning from 9am until 10.30am for children who have signed up and due to start with us in the upcoming months.  This includes a snack and drink for the child and drink and biscuits for the parent/carer.  This is an ideal way to introduce your child to the setting routines, staff and environment prior to them starting their nursery journey with us.

Outside Explorers takes place one afternoon per week with two of our lovely staff members, whereby children are taken out in to the local environment to explore and extend their learning opportunities.  A maximum of 8 children attend and children attend this for a term.   Parental consent is needed for your child to be able to attend this activity.

A ‘Rising 5’ session is held  each week to help the older children to prepare for their move to primary school the following year supported by our Qualified Teacher.
